Wendy Testaburger | 100 Girls on the Infield

Name: Wendy Testaburger, @SouthPark

Wendy is the lead female character on the animated comedy series South Park and is seemingly the only person strong enough to stand up to the boys and their antics. She serves as the moral and ethical backbone in the community and fights for progress and women’s equality. She is not afraid to go against the grain of what’s popular or trendy and stands up for her principles and causes. Although she is a fictional character, elements of her personality have clearly been taken from strong, independent and powerful women.

5 Reasons Wendy is Awesome:

  1. She once held the title as “class president” and is clearly on her way to becoming valedictorian and a future leader.
  2. Wendy has an incredible talent for ice skating and is able to perform a figure-eight, salchow, triple-lutz and twirl endlessly, while keeping balance, making her the best skater in the class.
  3. Although we don’t commend her violent actions, she beat up Cartman in front of the entire school, while standing up for breast cancer.
  4. Wendy embodies classic, graceful style with a pink beret, light purple jacket with a navy blue trim, navy blue gloves and yellow trousers.
  5. She is a cheerleader and volleyball player.

Wendy knows how to deal with chauvinist pigs, but don’t take our word for it. See for yourself in the clip below:
